Citadel Tanto

The Japanese Tanto is a generic word used to represent a dagger.  The tanto by most standards is never longer than 1 Shaku in length and anything longer is referred to as an O-tanto.  Intended as a close quarters combat weapon it was often carried both in and out of court and not only by the samurai class but also by women and merchants.  These are faithfully created in the old standards and methods as is all of the Citadel products. Each Tanto is delivered in a silk tie bag and zippered carrying case.
