A beautiful differentially tempered blade with tempered copper habaki and plain polished brass fittings.  The tsuka is wrapped in white same and black silk in the hineri-maki style with antique brass horse pattern menuki.  The saya is a deep black gloss lacquer and gold mon with a polished brass koiguchi. It is fully dismountable and includes a silk bag and zippered carrying case.
