The Bo and JO are one of the oldest weapons known to man since it is a simple wooden staff used to facilitate walking as well as being utilized as a very deadly weapon in the hands of a master practitioner. The staff is a know weapon in many cultures and utilized in more styles of combat than any other weapon known to man.

A Bo of a different color so to speak. White wax wood is perhaps one of the most resilient of woods used in combat weapons. You can literally beat the heck out of anything until your arms drop off and it still remains intact.
